Since 1996, Initiative has invested in the stability of Atlanta area communities by providing quality, safe, permanent affordable housing options, professional property management services, and community living settings with access to essential services and transportation. Initiative’s affordable housing program is a natural extension of our commitment to serve the most financially vulnerable families in metro Atlanta. Our properties offer a critically needed housing service to families and seniors living with fixed incomes or low-wage jobs, preserving affordability in areas affected by the rising cost of living. With 355 units under management, Initiative is the largest private nonprofit provider of affordable housing in DeKalb County.
